Radnor Engaged
The purpose of this website is straightforward--to inform. The result of it is very important--engagement. Why are we engaging? Because our children and our country need us to.

Prior to COVID, most of the parents in our group were not engaged because we trusted the people responsible for educating our children within the Radnor School system. When our children were participating in their classes virtually, we had insight into the classrooms and we did not like some of the activities we saw. We believe that there are things happening inside Radnor schools that are detrimental to the well-being of our children as well as our community such as the use of and availability of violent and pornographic content in our schools. This is not our idea of education. We are finding more and more people who feel the same way and who want our schools to be uplifting and safe places where our children can work together to grow, learn and become the best they can be.

Please spend some time reviewing the information contained here. Be informed. Get engaged. Help us ensure that our children receive an education in an environment that is positive and designed to unite not divide our students and families.

We will add information regularly so please continue to visit our site. Thank you.
What is Happening in Radnor Schools

The #1 Niche ranking looks good in the headlines but we have uncovered some activities in our classrooms that we believe are harmful to our students.

The following violent and explicit videos were shown in 9th grade government classes without parents being made aware of the content. Once our children see these violent and troubling scenes, they can't unsee them. Whatever point the teachers were trying to make in showing these videos could have been made with content that was not violent, explicit and crude. Why did our teachers choose these disturbing videos to show our children--and without telling parents about them and giving them the ability to opt out?

"This is America" by Childish Gambino

"Alright" by Kendrick Lamar

Presentation used in the same 9th grade government class.

books
Here are just a few excerpts from just a few books that are available in Radnor School Libraries. WARNING: content is explicit and offensive but it is important to see what our children are exposed to/have access to in our Radnor school libraries. Do you approve of pornographic content in our schools?

All Boys Aren't Blue by George Johnson: Excerpts: "For the first few minutes, we dry humped and grinded." "He reached his hand down and pulled out my dick. He quickly went to giving me head." "He didn't know I was a virgin and I did my best to act dominant like my favorite porn star."
Out of Darkness by Ashely Hope: The main character is sexually abused by her stepfather. Excerpts: "he shifted in his pajamas and the part of him that made him a man stuck out...then he lowered her hand down and closed it around the hardness." "Profanity count: f*ck; d*ck; p*ssy; b*tch; b*astard; r*pe; n*gger; sh*t; d*mn; God and Jesus in vain.
Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews: Excerpts: "Yeah, Earl, I'm going to eat her pussy. Do you even know how to eat pussy?"
Gender Queer: A Memoir by Maia Kobabe: Excerpts: "I think I'm asexual." "You can't be, I've seen you lust after people." "This would involve hip-thrusting while thinking of my lastest gay ship." "In 2013, I discovered Erika Moen's webcomic Oh Joy Sex Toy. I guess I should get one of those and try it!"
GEORGE by Alex Gino: Excerpts: "This was called transitioning. You could even start before you were eighteen with pills called androgen blockers that stopped the boy hormones already inside you from turning your body into a man's. But for that, you needed your parents' permission." "She immersed her body in the warm water and tried not to think about what was between her legs but there it was bobbing in front of her."
Privilege aptitude test
Students in 7th grade Language Arts classes were given this Privilege Aptitude Test during the Spring semester 2021. The teachers then recommended books based on how the students answered the questions on the survey.

Teachers encouraged 7th grade students to give the survey to students in other grades.

Students who did not "pass" the Privilege Aptitude Test were encouraged to read the book George by Alex Gino. The main character is a fourth grader.

Excerpts to GEORGE are found under our BOOKS section.
